Thomas opened the London office in 2005 after a decade in corporate tax. He is a chartered accountant and chartered tax adviser, and leads the advisory practice.

Most of his work sits between the two countries: Spanish groups opening a UK subsidiary, British companies hiring in Madrid, and due diligence for buyers on either side. He speaks Spanish at home and at the office.
